PSN Outtage 4/20 - 5/15 (UPDATED)

First topic message reminder :

Everybody started getting the infamous 80710A06 error when trying to log in to the PlayStation Network on Wednesday April 20th. Another attack on PSN? A screw up on PSNs side? Some type of disaster? Hmm... We can't say for sure, but we do think PSN was hacked which lead Sony to shut down PSN servers to provide more security protection to their databases. I will continue to update this post with information as the PSN Blog becomes updated and info from other sources as well.

ok guess what i heard on our local news here sony press release on hackers taking down psn last nights new topic i was like they finally omit it all and let the world know they fudged up and they said all services will be back up today hum.......................

I hope it comes back today, I NEED to play DC NOW! These hackers are complete self-righteous tools, I get wanting to stick it to the man, but all they did was piss off the entire gaming community. They will get caught, they're way to arrogant not too, then it's gonna take like the next seven generations of their families to pay the lawsuit.

There is one thing to consider in this though, Sony may be using a bit of strategy, they may be trying to get hacked, they may have set a trap, who knows. I know 5 hackers connected to Annonymous were arrested a few days ago in the UK and Annonymous is havinga temper tantrum over it. So funny watching an ineffectual little group of malcontents get what they have coming and seeing them not able to do anything but throw a fit as they get arrested one by one. They deserve everything they get. If you put enough money into forensics you will find what you're looking for. Sony has that kind of money, and that whole honor and shame factor. I just want to play some DCUO ffs.

Donest look like PSN will me up today or tomorrow. ( Even doubt it will be this week) iF SOE just ament it got hacked. So they now have fix that problem if havent already. This take a while and Since PSN is part of the SOE it is Sony Online Entertainment. (If it not please explain how it cant be.)

Sony didn't admit getting hacked today, well not yet at least. It was a report from the Belgium National News Service. My Dutch is terrible but the source is credible enough to acutally believe something may have happened. PSN is the entire online network, SOE is the on-line games, Final Fantasy 11, Free Realms, DC Universe Online, that sort of thing. So when one is effected, especially with stolen information of course eveything has to be taken down.

Well, it's not on the blog yet, but the general consensus on youtube is that PSN will be back in the US on Thursday, a lot of people are reporting the same days for the same regions. LMFAO on a sidenote I found this little gem out there from some conspiracy theorist. "sonys psn will be down till 6/20/2011. there where no hackers, sony has sold the rights of psn to microsoft and has been using hackers as a "coverup" the network will be up next month after all the legal paperwork is done. as of next month psn will be renamed xbl and will be able to sync all ur information from xbox live to ur ps3. thay are doing this to inprove sails and income on both sides. all psn users will reseve a 100$ xbl point card. for more information pleas send me a pm. thx" oh in case you want to follow up on that pm thing, that person is donthemighty on youtube, good luck with that. xD

lol nah i just believe that psn will not be up until like next week or until they give a official date it coming back i know they said within a week now it's in a week. Sony really need make up there minds
