PSN Outtage 4/20 - 5/15 (UPDATED)

Everybody started getting the infamous 80710A06 error when trying to log in to the PlayStation Network on Wednesday April 20th. Another attack on PSN? A screw up on PSNs side? Some type of disaster? Hmm... We can't say for sure, but we do think PSN was hacked which lead Sony to shut down PSN servers to provide more security protection to their databases. I will continue to update this post with information as the PSN Blog becomes updated and info from other sources as well.

hackers r pissed sony screwed lmao jking errors with 1.5 the problem probably i was at club meeting last night no furniture and i got on home yesterday played alittle frooze right turn off right turn it on said ps3 corrupted i was like omg nooooooooo it reset and nothing reset idk i like no lagging but i hate this screwed up 1.5 no furniture thing y is it out of 12 pplz 3 of us could see furniture at all hum sony wth?

PSN Error 80710A06 Update – If you try login to you PSN account you might receive this error code - 80710A06. As of now PSN is down and currently undergoing maintenance this April 21, 2011 at midnight. If you receive this message dont panic since there were lots of other PS3 user encountered this error message.

Sony N.A doesn't seem to give much info on the "why" this is happening aspect but they are just saying they been looking into it... Not really helpful that we aren't informed of the true nature of this problem but, okay Sony, any day now...
