He's been dropping some nice Mothership titled mixes with Zeds Dead lately. If this site is just a way to push those mixes/sets and build hype around them (merch, etc), then i'm down. Especially if it brings in that whole Bassmentality crew... Mary Anne Hobbs, Netsky, Nero, etc. etc.

Why would you hate that dubstep, or any genre, becomes mainstream? That's primarily the goal for most of these artists, to make a fantastic living off of their art, and have the funds to be able to focus on their craft instead of doing something else to pay the bills. Being mainstream simply means that it's good enough to draw the attention of the majority. That's the point. To get your art observed.
This is like saying "I hate when basketball teams win championships" or "I hate when corporations make money".
It's simply haterism.
Do I think Skrillex is the best dubstep artist out there? No. But him and his team have done a fantastic job of bridging the gap between pure dubstep, drumstep and hard house.. creating a sound that's digestible by the majority while still keeping the edge of the UK garage sound.
It's impressive, and not deserving of hate. Hell, I'd go see some local dubstep producer spin his tracks at a shitty club before shelling out the bread for a Skrillex show, but I'm not going to hate on him, or the genre, for achieving his goals.

People hate apple because they make money all the damn time. Skrillex is way over hype and i listen to dub step way before him and will listen after all he's hype is gone. Dub step isn't the new type of music been around forever. Mainstream finally repenting Dub step is a good thing. But now we get the people who want to make money quick and fast and couldn't give a damn about what dub step is about. All the artist using dub step to sell there newest album sickest me that just my opinion

It's not the music it's the people that make it a scene and reply "skrillex!" when you ask them "hey what is dubstep?"
