    Hi Nos,

Currently multiple people are having the same problem. I believe it is the network undergoing some spike lags but it should be resolved. This is not happening to everyone, but it does happen to multiple people occasionally.

If anything, re-sync your internet settings. Go to your network settings on your PS3 and select "Easy" method, now everything is on automatic. Don't bother testing the connection. Now try logging into Home again. Tell me if that works.

Tried all that stuff and more haha!
Apparently this is affecting lots of folks and the powers that be are looking into it.
Seems to be a lot of Canadians getting this particular error.

That error also sometimes comes from attempting to merge an avatar or perform some type of method that requires you to be connected to DNS software from your computer. If that is not the case and you are connected to your regular DNS, re-synced your network settings and have also tried deleting home and reinstalling it, perhaps it could be a network error coming from Canada. Although I know lots of Canadians on PS Home who are getting on just fine.

Try this: Delete Home. Turn off your PS3. Do a soft reset of your router. Then turn your PS3 back on and re-sync your network settings (everything automatic). Then re-install Home (preferably choose the lowest 3GB of reserved space. The more memory you set Home to reserve, the more there is to load.) Now try getting into PS Home. I'm sure you've done all of that already but this is a step by step systematic refresh method.

    Update news:
The nosbride reports successful Home access moments ago on the console we had not altered.
Apparently, Home does not hate Nos as suspected.

Not ready to go that far yet... the Mrs was able to access Home, but am stuck at work, so will not know until laterish. Will check back in then.
Btw, "altered" meaning settings (network, etc).... have physically altered nothing (hardware) Smile

As a fellow Canadian I am OUTRAGED at this blatant attack against our National past time! I DEMAND an immediate halt to all Z (2 -9) errors in Canada! ...And then make me a banana and peanut butter sandwich. That is all.

    Hey everyone,

I know some of you have experienced the Z(9-2) error again lately. I'd like to request that anyone who has had it say so and confirm that your forum ID is the same as your PSN ID. If not, state that as well. Knowing who is being affected in this will help with an investigation into this issue. Every little bit of data helps!

    Thanks!

Hmm... Over the course of reading that topic, here is what I found. Mentioned by a user named "Exoidus", he explains this happening to him and his girlfriend. His girlfriend has a the old fat PS3 and he has the slim. So I guess we can rule out the problem of being a specific slim or fat PS3. Him and his girlfriend have both made purchases on their accounts, he also has an alt account that doesn't work and he has not purchased anything. So I guess we can rule out if it affects paid or non paid accounts only.

It's unclear if this is only affecting Canadian users. So far we can assume and still have reason to believe the problem is only happening with Canada.
