We have absolutely NOT won the war on terror. Bin Laden's death is a significant psychological victory, but not the end. I served 16 months in Iraq in Operation Enduring Freedom, that whols belief system, that whole way of life is much more powerul than just one leader. There is no one man that we can kill to end all this, but if we continue to do the job it can be done. It's not popular, and it's extremely hard work that requires dilligince, time, and worse of all, lots of life. The world hates us for "stcking our noses in their business" but I think it goes back to the whole super-hero psychology of knowing that since you have the power to do something, you have the responsibility as well. I hope we continue fighting this war, it's one of the few we have gone into for all the right reasons.
