embedding BASIC

I've got the wild hair to write a program in BASIC.
Only way im going to follow through is if I can find a way to embed it on a webpage, blog or maybe even a Xat chatroom.

can anyone point me in the right direction? can it be done?

To embed basic programs on to web sites, you have to use text editors like notepad, wordpad etc. and have to use web programming languages like html, javascript, css etc.

www.w3schools.com is the best site for learning different languages like html, CSS and javascript. They have nice simple tutorials on it to enhance your ability to write and understand web programming languages.

After poking around a bit I learned the most easy way to accomplish what i am after is with PHP script. Almost all web hosting providers allow this to be run.
