My Opinion: i dont think it will affect so much, its just mental/symbolic and a turistic place.

Barack Obama is the commander and chief of the United States and gave the order to attack where Osama was hiding and was given credit for the command he made, although the Navy Seals are the ones who carried out the order, Obama commanded it.

Osama Bin Laden ordered to attack America on 9/11, although the terrorist of Al Queda assigned to performed this mission did it, Osama is the one who gave the order. Therefore he takes the credit for the command just the same.

As leaders, these men are responsible for the orders they give to their following soldiers. The same way people blame leaders when their country goes into shambles. They are the leaders, the responsibility comes with the title.


Justice was served and people are happy about it. Any man who commanded the death of your families and 1000s of others will eventually get a visit from karma. On May 1st 2011 Osama got that visit. Of course the families who were destroyed by his order to attack America on 9/11 are going to rejoice. Not all of them will, but justice was served, who can't agree with that? I suppose it's a matter of what you think justice means to you.

I was a senior when 9/11 happened. Myself and 3 dudes from my class enlisted together. I was in Iraq by the time I was 19. I'm guarded with my excitement, as I think we all should be. Bin Laden deserved to die, no question. I worry about revenge though, as they are a culture that is known for having an eye-for-an-eye mentality. This is a psychological victory, our President told the world we got the job done. His due dilligence on that intel got it done, that is what a Commander and Chief does. SEaL team smiles does the job and doesn't leave as much as a footprint behind. Nice to be there for the rare occasion when everything goes right. There is a lot of evil in this world. I'm proud that we as Americans are conscious enough to take the unpopular route of trying to change things... Nazi Germany, Pol Pot's Genocide, North Korea, Mogodishu, Kosovo, Rwanda, all US led campaigns with allied/UN support, and I hope Darfur is next. Look at our military history, we fight evil, and we're damn good at it Bin Ladens just the most recent, now he's catching pineapples in the a$$ in Hell, and I couldn't be happier.
