by So there's this title that has been in the works for quite a while called Fez. They recently released a new trailer at PAX East 2011 so I thought I'd share it.
It's a 2.5D retro-styled platformer. I know those are sort of 'buzz words', but imagine where platformers would have gone if Mario 64 had never been released? It seems like a natural progression of the 2D platformer using elements of 3D.
The music is really amazing too. Anyways, just watch:
