AdvanceTC has revealed a unique device which is called MAGIC W3. It looks like a smartphone and also like a small tablet. However, the hardware platform and operating system chosen does not have anything in common with any of these product categories. According to AdvanceTC, MAGIC W3 is actually a packable small “microcomputer”.
The AdvanceTC Magic W3 features a 4.8-inch touchscreen which has a native resolution of 800×480, and also interpolated 800×600 and 1024×600 options. The device is powered by the 1.6 GHz Intel Atom Z530 CPU and Windows 7 Home Premium. It is fitted with HyperThreading technology, which is emulated by the functionality of a dual-core processor.
The operating system is installed on an integrated SSD with a capacity of 32GB that has 1GB of RAM available. The storage space can be extended by at least 32GB using a microSD memory card.
Other features of the MAGIC W3 includes a 1.3MP front camera for video conferencing session, a set of stereo speakers, headphone output, HDMI, USB connector and more.
