A re-imagining of one of gaming's most storied and beloved franchises, XCOM combines the strategic core of the groundbreaking franchise with a suspense-filled narrative and distills it into a tense and unique first-person shooter experience. The game depicts humanity's struggle against an unknown enemy, putting players directly into the shoes of an FBI agent tasked with identifying and eliminating the growing threat. very cool game i think i buy this one

The game looks cool, I like how realistic yet simple the environments look while that venom looking ooze is attacking, makes it easy to follow whats happening compared to a game that has too much detail in the background. Too bad I don't own an Xbox, I would def get this game!

XCOM has been around for ages.
It's an old PC game that uses strategy elements.
It's quite deep for such an old game.
With the new game they threw out the whole strategy element.
Now it's just a first person shooter with glogs of goo.
Looks more like invasion of the body snatchers the game.
The story might be good, but the soul of the original game was lost.

i remember playing the first XCOM for ps1 think it was xcom UFO defense and i liked it the way it originally was like how pyro said turn based strategy game.
