Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 is the spectacular conclusion to one of the most memorable and celebrated sagas in video games. Developed by Epic Games exclusively for Xbox 360, Gears of War 3 plunges you into a harrowing tale of hope, survival, and brotherhood.

In Gears of War 3, fight on as Marcus Fenix, the grizzled war hero and leader of Delta Squad. Eighteen months after the fall of the last human city, the war against the Locust rages on. Meanwhile, deep beneath the surface, a fearsome new threat is infecting the planet from within. With survivors scattered and civilization in ruins, time is running out for Marcus and his comrades as they fight to save the human race.

Release Date: September 20, 2011

It may be one of the jewels in Microsoft's 2011 lineup, but Gears of War 3 has had a tumultuous time on the road to release. The game's unveiling was set to take place on talk show "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" but was delayed, though not before the game's release date was reportedly leaked on Xbox Live. Shortly after the "Late Night" showing, Microsoft confirmed that the game would be landing in April, but then had to renege on its initial promise and delay the game to a holiday 2011 release.

Today, Microsoft announced a new worldwide release date for Gears of War 3 of September 20. This brings territories such as Japan, Australia, and Europe in line with the U.S., which was originally going to get the game first when it was slated for an April release date.

Microsoft has also named some of the maps and weapons that are due to appear in the game when it lands in September.

THis game will PWN, those who doesnt have an xbox will want to buy one before this game comes!

this game should be made for ps3 but since we have kz3 i will not complain too much

If you’re a fan, you’ll most likely have in your diary that the Gears of War 3 beta officially kicks off on Monday, April 18, for Bulletstorm
“Epic Edition” owners, followed by the April 25 entrance of those who pre-ordered via GameStop. Whatever way you plan on getting your hands on a copy, you will need Xbox Live Gold membership to be able to enjoy it all. As this will be the first time Gears 3 goes public, here’s a quick video preview of what’s expected to come.






If all goes as expected, be sure to log in at 0900 EST because you should then be able to head over to the beta, and enjoy unlocked weapons, medals and skins through the various achievements. These, of course, will also be made available in the full game – but its just a quick tip for getting there first.
