Pros and Cons of Xbox360

Debating wither to buy a xbox, since seems like more people i know have a xbox and like only 1 person i know has a ps3 =/. So i'll add in some pros and cons and add on to the list guys?


Pros: Xbox 360 cheaper console, Halo, live, more real friends have the xbox360

Cons: Paying for internet, heard more kiddos in xbox360, no blue-ray, controller overly bulky

NO!, ill say the truth, those are not pros and cons, those are your personal opinions,
real friends on a gaming console is relative, xbox is not cheaper, but offers a cheaper version with less memory and stuff than the 300$ version, ''Halo, a good game''(an example) is an opinion, i know a lot of persons that dont like xbox, kids(relative, too) you were a kid too... a lot of persons preffer the xbox controller for the bigger hands, a lot of xbox users preffer to pay for xbox live subscription than getting the PSN or PS plus service, offers way much more better stuff and features that a PS3 will not do in a long time or never, and yeah, only thing that is supossed to be bad is that the xbox does not have blu-ray, but a lot of multi-console games looks better on the xbox and that is for real.
NOTE: i have a PS3 and i am proud of having it, i am not thinking on getting an xbox, im just saying... i am the fanboy of no console.
TBH: next time... look for some information on the internet, some websites, analyze everything and then make your statements or points of view.

Personally I prefer the PS3 over the Xbox because it has blu-ray capabilities, ossum games that are exclusive to the PS3, and a social platform such as Home. I'm not gonna bag on the Xbox though, I used to own one and enjoyed gaming on it. I've had my fair share of fun times with Halo, Shenmue, and Left4Dead. Nothin wrong with having multiple consoles

yes i agree so in months wouldnt last longer then 6 months if they last a year i probably be more happy my ps3 60gb work since i got it until this year i take good care of my thing i have a mac from the 90 that run fine or even older then that my Nes still works without blowing into it so saiding it the owner no i take care of my things it just a pos

• Poor amount of exclusive games
  
• No 3D gaming or even developing 3D games
  
• Xbox uses HD-DVDs which will not keep up with the growing Blu Ray format (which won the format war.)
  
• Not all Xbox's support 1080p, which is the highest resolution quality today.

Cons:

• Lag, overheating and freezing can cause a YLOD. However, slim PS3's have been able to withstand a YLOD a lot better
  
• No backward compatibility, removed ability on all Slim PS3's
  
• Pricing. The most expensive console on the market, but with what this thing provides, can you blame it?
  
• Delays. Many big games usually get delayed for release.
  

And thats about all the cons I can think of for the PS3.

That is my list of pros & cons for box the xbox and the ps3. Choose wisely, the best option is pretty clear (PS3..echo..echo..)

OMG! i do not aprove some things on spadez pros list f both consoles, you cant add games to the pros and cons because its a damn opinion, they could be the most popular games on the market, but not everyone likes them, thats what i am trying to tell!

really xbox sucks they forgot to put fan in there system can expect much out company cant even make good os have steal other pplz ideas

you all have to admit that the xbox's XMB pwns ps3's XMB, and that is a real fact(my opinion) but for real, look at it, the xbox XMB offers way much more features than ps3's, you can make cross-game videochats, send voice mails, facebook, play music while playing any game anytime, and MSN messenger, plus xbox haves an animated avatars that everyone can see when they see your profile.. but personally, i like trophies more than achievements(even tho is the same) but like the trophies format.

LOL geez Raz chill out. Yes people have their own opinions and preferences as to what's the better console; there are also those that just like to straight up game. Nothing wrong with having multiple gaming systems.

Games on someone's pro list are solely based on personal opinion, if you don't like it, then put it on your own cons list. And it doesn't matter what age a person is for a specific console. If a grown man wants to platinum Hannah Montana's Greatest Game Adventure then so be it! It would be questionable..but it's still a game regardless.

My personal preference as to which gaming console and games I favor most above all is the PS3. Like I similarly mentioned in a previous post, I'm not baggin' on any consoles or games. Each has their own qualities to be liked, but mine reign over with the PS3. Just sayin'.

Actually, the point of those games being on the pros list is because those games are 'exclusive' to the Xbox or PS3, which is a + for that console. Yes, I can add whatever I want to the pros & cons list because it's MY list of pros & cons. Completely my opinion, which is why all pros & cons vary. Whether you like it or not, that would be YOUR opinion, to each is own. Now we can sit here and debate over it but there is no contest, my opinion stands.
