MTV has scored this set photo of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan in his GREEN LANTERN costume and you’re wondering, what the? If you recalled, the costume will be CG.. so Reynolds is seen here wearing some kind of “grey tracking motion/performance capture suit with LED lights”. What do you think?..

GREEN LANTERN will open on scheduled, June 17th, 2011
Starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan. Mark Strong as Sinestro. Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as the villain Dr. Hector Hammond, Temuera Morrison is set to play Abin Sur, Taika Waititi will play Hal Jordan’s best friend, Thomas Kalmuka. Angela Bassett as Amanda Waller.

Martin Campbell will be directing using the script written by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green
