    1) MK wasn't on the NES, it's not that old (Genesis and SNES),
    2) the controls are pretty much exactly the same.

Did you even read the page you linked? It said MK II and 3, were emulated and ported to Famicom systems, and had carts made for them. If you seriously want to debate this issue, brush up on your sources before you post haphazardly.

    1. Mortal Kombat is a 1992 fighting-game developed and published by Midway for arcades. In 1993, home versions were released by Acclaim Entertainment. It is the first title in the Mortal Kombat series. Upon release, Mortal Kombat became one of the most popular arcade games of all time. It was subsequently ported to home video game consoles and became a best-selling game.

    2. Versions of the original Mortal Kombat game appeared on several different formats, notably the (8-bit) Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and (16-bit) Nintendo's SNES.

    Genesis (1993)
    SNES (1993)
IBM PC/Microsoft Disk Operating System (1993)
    Amiga (1993)
    Game Boy (1993)
    Sega Game Gear (1993)
    Sega Master System (1993)
    Sega CD (1994)
    Xbox/PlayStation 2 - In 2004
    Etc...

    3. NES - This version was illegally ported by Hummer Team as "Mortal Kombat II" and "Mortal Kombat III" (some with and without the "Turbo" in the name) and by Yoko (aka Cony) as "Mortal Kombat V1996 Turbo 30 Peoples".

It was available on NES pirated, way after MK released on SNES. I don't see why anybody would have wanted to play a down scaled, typo filled, ugly version of a better looking game for SNES + the moves were all the same. Also the 80s are irrelevant. MK released in the 90s.

At the time i couldn't afford a SNES and i remember playing on my NES. The 80's was relevant because I grow up during that time. I was 12 years old in 1993. You know how much the SNES was in 1993 $200.00. With one paddle i already had NES I knew I remember playing it on my NES Aslo btw anyone can write a wiki even i can :p Aslo he said that Mk was never on the NES it was the video proves that :p

Because what was on the Famicom wasn't Mortal Kombat. Hell, the title screen even says "Mortal Combat" and it's a mashup of MK I backgrounds, Street Fighter wrapping, and a hybrid blend of SF and MK controls. It wasn't Mortal Kombat. It was a hack job by some hobbyists. The game was never officially on the Famicom. Also the port came out way after the SNES release. It wasn't 1993 when it came out. Further, it was a hack cart. I'm going to make a very educated guess here and hazard the supposition that you never had this cart.

You fucked up in your first reply, and got caught in your lie. Then tried to scour the internet for some sliver of support to your baseless claim. When you found something remotely relevant, you linked it. You didn't even properly read the information until I called you out on it.

The actuality of it is, you aren't trolling, you're just a pathetic liar. I called you a troll as a tongue-in-cheek way to call you out in front of the other intelligent posters on this forum, while attempting to end this debate and let SPADEZ's thread get back on track.

I went back and read some of the other "debates" you've gotten into on this forum, and across the internet. They only stand to corroborate my claim. I'm done with this conversation. You'll reply (or fight every fiber in your being to not, to spite me), because you have some disillusion that you can still fix this by adding one more piece of shoddy evidence.

You'll probably want to latch on to one phrase I'm writing here and expand upon it, blow it out of context, and use it to attempt to debunk my stance, and perhaps empower yours. You'll probably re-read your reply and think to yourself, "This will prove I'm right, and that guy's an asshole,". You'll only be half right, I am an asshole.. but you're not right.

And everyone else here knows it.
